We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, here's how we handle it.
Your right to cancel (online purchases)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it — no reason needed. To exercise this right, contact us at returns@luxuryessentialsboutique.co.uk within 14 days of delivery. Once we've confirmed your cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the items to us.
Condition of returned items
To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned in the same condition you received them — sealed, unused, and in their original packaging. We cannot accept returns of items that have been opened, used, or unsealed, due to hygiene and health protection reasons. This applies to fragrances, skincare, and body care products that have been opened after delivery.
This means: an unopened, sealed product can be returned for any reason within 14 days. An opened product cannot, unless it is faulty or not as described.
Faulty or incorrect items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, regardless of whether the item was in a sale.
Sale items
Discounted prices do not affect your statutory rights. All of the above applies equally to items purchased at a reduced price.
Returning fragrances
Fragrances are classified as flammable liquids and cannot be sent via standard Royal Mail or most courier airmail services. If you are returning a fragrance, please use Royal Mail surface mail (not airmail) and ensure the item is securely packaged. We recommend using tracked postage and retaining your proof of postage.
Return shipping costs
For change-of-mind returns (cancelled orders), return postage is the customer's responsibility. For faulty or incorrect items, we will cover the return cost.
Refunds
Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll process your refund within 5 business days to your original payment method. Your bank may take a further 3–5 working days to show this.
