Òir (Gaelic for gold) handmakes every bar in Scotland, in its workshop just outside Edinburgh, using the traditional cold-process method. The base is a rich blend of olive, coconut, shea, castor and cocoa butter, scented only with pure essential oils and finished with a shimmer of gold mica. Each bar is a luxurious, plastic-free replacement for a bottle of shower gel, and it arrives boxed and ready to give.

How to use: Lather up in the shower with a natural cotton bath puff, or keep it beside the sink as a hand soap. Òir's bars are generously chunky, so you can cut one in half with a sharp knife (clean the knife well afterwards). Keep it on a draining soap dish between uses and it will last even longer.
